also

The MRT freq has to be kept reliable...

I think MRT schedule adherence is very poor these days...

If Comfort was seriously concerned about the take-home pay of cabbies, they would have just simply reduced the taxi rental. That would certainly increase their pay without affecting demand in any way.

But of course, that would mean eating into the profits of Comfort, and I suppose that is anathema to them.

My mistake.

to think of it

if they can get rid of taxi need to pay COE, that problem would be solved..

but zheng hu says it's not their problem either..

actually, the whole ind needs someone to touch it..

touch it is something...

To get the whole ind to agree to it another totally different issue...

Actually I think more because ppl now like more $$, go spend on makan and watch movie.. lol

but seriously, the fare structure is something that has to be eventually dealt with.

Orh so Gov say overall pay increase so need increase fare also

cassie SG

busy morning...can't believe how much stuff can pile up in 2 days

the Bear SG

the assholes of Comfort can go fuck themselves...

but frankly, this is caused directly by the implementation of the COE.. i mean, the fucking taxi COE for last month was around $50k!

wtf??

that's just stupid, insane, irresponsible and... fucked up

eh..

I'm going to kachiow the entire industry as a whole..

But I'm trying to say is, when the kids have more pocket money, tendency for them to start flagging for cab.

Dun forget some may not have started to earn $$, dunno how difficult it is to earn $$

Good morning folks

morning

the Bear SG

time to get ready and be the driver for my folks for the day

elindra SG

sbst pm very slow la.

Anyway:

I dunno la seriously if you wanna control why not make taxi cheaper lor

Especially for sales ppl who need a car for jobs. If it makes more sense to take taxi ppl won't buy car le

Make COE for cars more ex la and keep taxis affordable. Cfm ppl will ditch their cars

Now ppl work out if hv car cheaper than taxi they wun take taxi rather buy car

sbst275 SG

tat's why

But like ah bear say, 1x COE now $50k... That's like worth $14 a day alrdy w/o factoring TVM.

Anyway, they've better know how they want to solve traffic problem

sbst275 SG

There's glass bottled Coke, Coke Light, Coke Zero, Sprite & A&W sold at those atas fine dining...
